A Motion Persona is an AI-generated, video-ready character—designed to mimic real human behaviors and expressions—with pre-defined motion and lip-sync animation driven by your script and prompts.

This feature is part of an upgrade and its availability depends on your selected plan.

1. Access the OSR/UGC Video Tool here https://app.synthesys.live/signin -> Click UGC

2. Click the Create a UGC video button to start

3. Select Motion Persona

4.  Next, create your audio, and you have three options to choose from:

  • Upload your own audio – The file must be in MP3 format and no longer than 30 seconds.
  • Use a sample audio – Select from existing audio samples provided.
  • Generate your audio – Create a new audio using the platform’s built-in voice generation tools.

Note: For motion persona, you can add script up to 150-200 characters only. 150 for limited license and extended up to 200 for unlimited license.

  1. Select Appearance  – This will be the actor featured in the UGC video you are creating.
  • Click Appearance button

Here, you’ll need to choose your avatar’s gender, provide a description of how the avatar should appear, and enter a background description that sets the scene for your avatar.

Example for Character Description:

A woman with long hair wearing a business attire.

Example for Background description:

An office environment

MOTION PERSONA - CONTROL MOVEMENT

Purpose: To guide the motion persona’s physical behavior during video renders or live interactions, including head, facial, and gesture movements.

For example:

A woman gracefully waves her hair and runs her fingers through it, gently brushing it back. She is in motion, walking from left to right across the frame. Her movement is smooth and confident, with natural body flow. As she moves, her hair follows the motion, creating a dynamic and elegant visual. Her expression is relaxed, possibly with a soft smile, suggesting ease or confidence.

  • Click Preview Persona

NOTE: For motion personas, movements and animations will only be visible after the video has been generated. You won’t see the motion in the preview or setup stage.

6. Once done with the audio selection and appearance, click the Generate button to proceed.

  1. Enter a name for your video and select the resolution. You can also enable captioning by ticking the caption box and choosing the position of the caption.

8. Click the Generate button to create your video
